Memphis Utility Funding Minority Causes
Memphis Light Gas and Water has subsidized the National Conference of Black Mayors, the Minority Business Council, the Black Business directory, the Freedom Awards and the Latino Memphis Fiesta to the tune of "close to a quarter million dollars".Don't you just love being in the grip of a government monopoly? No wonder my utility bill keeps going up.
