Don't be offended if I don't reply. I'm not intentionally rude. Just very unorganized when it comes to email.

Say No to Katrina-style Disarmament in TN

We all saw what happened when the government overstepped its bounds in New Orleans: they started confiscating citizen's guns in direct violation of the constitution.

Tennessee state senator Mark Norris is trying to ensure that that never happens here through the passage of SB 2928:

Firearms and Ammunition - Prohibits governor from commandeering firearms or suspending sale of ammunition during state of emergency; prohibits state, public officials and local governments from imposing additional restrictions on firearms and ammunition during state of emergency or disaster. - Amends TCA Section 58-2-107.

Gun Owners of America warns us that this legislation could reach the Senate floor as early as Thursday. All Tennesseans should immediatly contact their senator and ask them to support this critical bill.
